Lewis and Clark Caverns

Most of yesterday i spent in the beautiful state of Montana and i would have to say it runs a close second to wyoming in the wow! factor of the landscape.  I found myself just as amazed by the mountains and the trees and the rolling hills as i was by wyoming's beauty.  I keep finding myself shaking my head and smiling while i'm driving because i can't believe that i am this lucky to get to see all of the amazing things that i have.  I really hope the people that live in both of these states realize and appreciate all of the natural beauty that surrounds them.  If any of you ever visit montana, which i highly recommend, definitely hit up the lewis and clark caverns.  It is a little out of the way, but they are so cool and it was a pretty awesome experience.  You have to hike up a 3/4 of a mile and then while in the cavern you walk about a mile and then once outside you hike down 1/4 of a mile.  The tour took about 2 hours and there were times i had to crouch down and slide down to the next place we were going and there was a lot of stooping, but there were a lot of cool and beautiful stalagtites and stalagmites in there.  There was also a colony of tiny bats that lived in the cavern and we got to see them pretty up close.  I thought i would be freaked out by it, but it was actually pretty cool.  After that i drove the rest of the day through montana, across the panhandle of idaho and into spokane washington, where i'm at now.  I'm going to drive to seattle today and check out the town.  Little worried about driving in that city but hopefully the gps will help me out =)
